Liberty Community Recycling Updates

Aluminum - Clean foil and pie tins can be recycled but they should be kept separate. There will be a bucket in front of the aluminum bin to deposit your CLEAN foil and pie tins.

Newspapers -  Please do not put newspapers in the bin marked newspaper. If the pick up truck is not there, put your newspapers in the bin marked Junk Mail.

Book Cart in the Liberty Post Office

The Potter-Tioga Library System is out of money, and therefore the book cart in Liberty was lost too. Since then, Anne LaPinto, President of the Friends of the Library of the Blossburg Memorial Library, has stepped up and was able to get the cart donated back from P-T and fill it with donated books. Anne will be doing a survey on the kind of books people would like to read and also hope to get books on tape and on DVD's. LIVE organization has agreed to help with this. Watch for posters about this endeavor.
